Decoration Day, my favorite of DBT. "Outfit" is a dang near perfect song. Plus his song "Danko/Manuel" off their Dirty South record -- I love that. That's how I feel about The Band, that the music on that one with the brown cover and them all in black & white, is music that mixes up with the air & rain & dust & mud, that it lasts because it's made up of that stuff. That doesn't make any sense probably but when Jason Isbell sings "Danko/Manuel" off the Dirty South -- "Richard Manuel is dead" he gets the same thing about The Band. Elemental. This is from Frances.
